The SPA is calling on our specialist publications to help shape our strategy for the coming year.

Jakob Reid, our new Representation Officer, wants to ensure members can maximise the SPA's resources- no matter what they cover or how big they are.

As former Editor-in-Chief of Warwick's history magazine, Rewind, Jakob brings his expertise to the new role.

The survey will take just 10 minutes, and will help ensure specialist publications get tailored SPA support.

Jakob said: "Specialist publications make up roughly half of SPA members, and I want to make sure that’s actually reflected in what we do.

"As someone who founded a specialist publication myself, I know how different the experience can be compared to a general newspaper, and I think the SPA can do so much to support that.

"Whether you cover politics, science, fashion, law, or anything in between, your experiences and challenges are distinct, and they matter.

"This survey is just the starting point: it only takes ten minutes, and every response genuinely helps shape the support the SPA can offer for years to come."
