Our national awards, held during our annual national conference - known as SPANC - are the highlight of the student journalism calendar, and we’re never surprised to see our winners turning up in excellent journalism jobs very soon after.
We know editors across the British press watch for the best young talent coming out of our awards, and because our judges are seasoned industry professionals even entering gets your work in front of some of the country’s best journalists.
As well as our national event, our regional officers organise more localised awards during the academic year.
